Hi, I’m Mara. I’m an academic who is ‘re-careering’ after teaching for a decade, then raising and homeschooling my son.

I write New Adult Contemporary and Fantasy Romance with a splash of not-so-dark (dusk?) academia. Give me a young woman on her path to self-discovery, the supernatural colliding with the real world, and tons of angsty romance, and I’m ready to play.
